Terms and Conditions

All work undertaken by Growscape is carried out in line with the terms and conditions set out below. Upon acceptance of our quote the customer is deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time.

1. Agreed work
All work will be carried out in accordance with the programme set out in your proposal. Communication will be via email or phone where you will be sent a date together with an AM or PM slot. This can be subject to change due to reasons such as weather conditions. You may not be informed of a change until the day of your visit.

2. Quotes and pricing
We (Growscape) will do everything we can to be competitively priced and offer value for money. All quotes are valid for 30 days. Please be aware that due to fluctuating wholesale costs, prices can therefore rise with little or no notice. This applies to all services. We will always do our very best to provide you with notice of any changes to pricing.

3. Payment options
3.1
Pay as you go by BACS - bank details at bottom of invoice or on request.
3.2 Cash on site directly after work has been completed.
3.3 All invoices will have a 7 day due date.
3.4 Growscape reserves the right to pause any service if the invoice is not paid after three reminders have been sent.

4. Access to property
4.1
We will require access to all areas of the lawn that you have agreed to be treated. We do not require you to be home for this but please ensure you have left these areas accessible. We will always knock/ring and telephone you if we cannot gain access. If we are still unable to undertake the visit a card will be left and a charge will be made of 50% of the total cost of the treatment (minimum charge of £25 if treatment is under £50). A treatment will only be rescheduled once you have contacted us to agree a new time and day.

5. Obstacles on lawn
5.1
We are always striving to use the best products available to us for your lawn and the best machinery to carry out the work. In return it would be great if you can ensure the following:
5.2 All toys etc are clear of the lawn/s in preparation of the work.
5.3 In Autumn/winter when leaves can be an issue please ensure these are cleared from the lawn/s ready for any work to the lawn.
5.4 Please ensure that all animal faeces is cleared away prior to the treatment
5.5 If we feel we are unable to undertake the visit due to any of the above a 50% charge will be made of the treatment cost (minimum charge of £25 if treatment is under £50).

6. Mechanical operation
6.1
Lawns should be mown prior to all services undertaken. A guide to mowing will be provided prior to any work. If the lawn is deemed too long by the company (Growscape) then a 25% charge will be made of the treatment cost (minimum charge of £25 if treatment is under £50).
6.2 The Company (Growscape) accepts no liability for damage to utilities / hidden structures such as pipes or cables unless we are informed in writing of the position of said utilities / hidden structures. We ask for this information at the survey stage, and prior to mechanical bookings.
6.3 The Company (Growscape) cannot be held responsible for damage caused by stones and other items left in the lawn. While we take every care around pebbled / landscaped areas, the customer is responsible for ensuring stones aren’t in the lawn itself.

7. Your Responsibilities
We will do everything we can to ensure you are receiving the highest standard of service possible and feel that it is key to work in partnership with the customer. We will provide all of the necessary guidance in order for you to get the most from the lawn care service provided to you. It is the customers responsibility to follow this guidance to ensure that the customer is getting the best results from the service. We (Growscape) will not be held responsible for problems that may occur if the guidance is not followed.

8. Images
All images will be used solely for promotional and marketing purposes. If you do not wish for any images to be used please inform Growscape via email.

9. Disclaimer/Other important terms
9.1
Growscape cannot be held responsible for any circumstance beyond our control such as but not limited to:
● The effect of weather on your property
● Insect / animal damage
● Plant disease
● Weed grasses in lawns
● Damage or neglect caused by yourself or another contractor such as poor mowing, watering practices, materials/items/structures on lawn
● Lack of results following seeding due to not following our advice
● Weed or moss growth after the date of application. The products used target existing weeds and moss only

9.2 We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation.

9.3 This agreement is between us and the named customer on our records.

9.4 Each of our terms operates separately. If any count or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.

10.Complaints
